I had a session with little Miss Sophie before I left on vacation. She is getting so big, and was such a sweetie for her session. She was the perfect little model for her 6 month "photoshoot". :) I can't wait to see her again in 3 mos!

Well, it's been a while since my last blog post, but with good reason! :) Our family went on vacation and just arrived home yesterday. We had a blast visiting with my brother in Florida and exploring the area he lives in. We took a slight detour on the way home as well, and visited the Georgia Aquarium. We all loved it and it was a nice break from the driving we had to do. It was a wonderful little vacation, and we feel very thankful we were able to do it this year. I think we stayed away a bit too long though... the kids almost forgot we lived here, and were a bit confused when we got home....hehehe. :) Anyway, here are a few pics from the trip! Enjoy!!

Busy summer!

We've been busy here the past few weeks... the kids had Vacation Bible School for the first week of June, and the rest of the time has been spent getting our house organized and cleaned! (The kids love that one...lol) We're heading out of town for a little vacation soon.... but there will be plenty to come when we get back!!! In the meantime, here are some shots of the munchkins to tide you over!!!

(I'm planning to have a canvas painting made for Princess Emma's room...hehehe... )

Here is another 3.5 month cutie. Little Princess S. was more into chewing her fingers then modeling for the camera today, but still managed to be stinkin' adorable! :) I can't believe how much she'd grown from her newborn session, and can't wait to see her at 6 mos! It's going to be a blast!!!

This is 3.5 month old Aubrey. She made me work for these shots!!! She wasn't a happy camper when we first started the session, but in the end we got some beautiful shots. Can't wait to see you guys again soon!!

Fun with Morgan....

The timing was just right yesterday to get some more pics of Morgan. He was 5 wks old yesterday too! I can hardly believe it! I have some client sessions coming up next month and I can't wait! As much fun as it is to shoot my own kids, I'm itching to get some client sessions going! Only other thing that would be nice is for all this snow to melt, and the weather to perk up a bit so we can get outside.... :)

The Three Amigos....

I finally got a chance to get some shots of all three of the kiddos together. YAY! :) The older two were sick last weekend with that lovely stomach flu that has been going around, so I had to wait to get them all together. Little brother doesn't like to be naked, so we had to improvise.... I think it worked out just fine! :) I think I'll do more of the three of them on my black backdrop next.... maybe I can get a shot of all three with Daddy too! Keep your fingers crossed for me...hehehehe. :)

Well, I spent my 26th birthday in the hospital, welcoming a new addition to our family. Morgan Joseph Ewan was born at 2:47pm on January 20th. He weighed 6lbs 8oz and is 17 1/2 inches long. So far he's a very laid back baby, and shares the looks of both his brother and sister. He is very blonde though... which is a bit different than his siblings... they were both dark haired when they were born! Maybe this light hair will stay! :) Stay tuned for more pics soon.... hopefully he will be a very cooperative model for his mama! hehehe.. :)

Well, Fall seems to be disappearing fast here in Northern Michigan. It's getting colder and colder and the leaves are falling off of the trees. I can't believe how close we are to November! Time just flies by!!
Yesterday I took the kids out to try to get some shots of them before all the pretty leaves are gone. Didn't go as well as planned....lol. Emma was more interested in digging in the dirt...figures! So anyway...here are a few shots out of the 30 or so I took...lol. Enjoy!

I had a fun session today with (almost) one year old Austin and his family! Austin's mommy is my cousin, and it was great to get to see her and her family again! :)

Yay! My first post on my new blog! I'm hoping for an exciting year, full of great things! Also hoping to get a jumpstart on the new year, with the remodeling of my home studio. It's been a work in progress.. but looks like things are finally coming together. I can't wait to have my first session in there either! Hope everyone had a safe and happy start to the new year!
